BOTTOM-SLEWING CRANES WITH RADII FROM 22 TO 55 METRES.

Versatile and assembled in next to no time: our lineup ranges from the flexible CM 221 roofing crane with an inbuilt axle through to the 125 K, often used for medium-sized residential complexes, thanks to its 55-metre radius and maximum load capacity of 8 tonnes. Naturally, along with classic machines like the 53 K, the 81 K or the Igo T 85, our rental fleet also includes bottom-slewing cranes for special requirements, such as KR or TTR cranes on crawler tracks.

Bottom-slewing cranes are score extra points with their compact design and simple assembly and disassembly. They are pre-assembled and can be moved into place on transport axles. Self-erecting cranes can be installed without a mobile crane, for example, making them particularly cost-effective and flexible. They are therefore ideal for small and medium-sized construction sites, such as building single or multi-family houses.

As an added bonus, a BKL team with a crane technician and a truck/loader crane driver install your rental crane. There is no need to factor in any of your personnel.

TOP-SLEWING CRANES WITH RADII OF UP TO 90 METRES AND 50 TONNES.

Real powerhouses: BKL ensures that you're all set for heavier lifts and major construction sites. Our crane fleet offers a huge selection of smaller top-slewing cranes, from the 71 EC-B to various 300 tonne-metre giants, such as the 340 EC-B, culminating in the 1,000 tonne-metre colossus 21LC1050, which can hoist up to 50 tonnes.

Not only do top-slewing cranes feature impressive radii, hook heights and load capacities, they can be configured individually thanks to their modular design. They are assembled with the help of a mobile crane. As the slewing gear is attached to the top of the crane tower, only the jib and counter jib actually move. Top-slewing cranes therefore achieve a high action radius compared to their footprint. There are various types, such as flying jibs, luffing jibs or jibs with a trolley. These include topless and flat-top cranes, in other words, types of crane without rope guying. Top-slewing cranes are usually deployed for large projects and industrial buildings, where heavy loads have to be lifted high and moved over long distances.

Hire luffing jib cranes with BKL.

At BKL, you always get the right crane solution for your construction site. That's why we also offer you luffing jib cranes. These cranes score mainly at construction sites with several cranes, where space for rotation is limited. The adjustable job can avoid having to swing over neighbouring properties.

With a radius of just 4 metres, the top-slewing crane SLH 70.4 adapts to the smallest area.Thanks to its tower variants measuring 1.35 or 1.70 metres, it is ideal for city-centre projects – even fitting into narrow lift shafts. In addition, the crane can grow alongside the building and has two different interior climbing systems. And with the SLH 205, a slightly larger luffing jib is also available to rent.

As with all top slewing cranes from our crane fleet, our well-coordinated teams of experienced service engineers and mobile crane drivers take care of the assembly of your construction crane. In addition, we also offer you the full BKL service for this new crane type.
