More height. More reach. Hydraulic performance: BKL launches a 43-metre crane.

Munich, 13.08.2026 – BKL Baukran Logistik GmbH is launching the brand new CM 430 self-erecting crane in Germany. Not only does the 61-tonne-metre crane expand the BKL System Cattaneo horizontally and vertically, it is also one of the hydraulic cranes with the greatest reach. The new machine will be unveiled at the Nordbau 2026 trade fair in Neumünster, Germany.

BKL presents a new hydraulic crane in the 61-tonne-metre class.

With a maximum lifting capacity of 4 tonnes, the CM 430 is designed for construction sites requiring high material handling capacity, as well as for demanding residential and commercial projects. The new self-erecting crane in the BKL System Cattaneo offers a maximum radius of 43 metres, making it one of the hydraulic cranes with the widest reach on the European market. With two hook heights of 26.5 and 32.5 metres, and no need for additional tower sections, it can compete with lattice boom cranes in the 61-tonne-metre class, yet is easier to assemble and quicker to deploy thanks to its folding system.

Flexible deployment and compact site logistics.

On site, the CM 430 can be used even in confined spaces thanks to its slewing radius of just 2.5 metres. The 2-fall technology ensures efficient operation through a high handling rate. In addition to the MicroMove fine-lift function, the further-optimised slewing characteristics support the precise positioning of loads. Furthermore, the crane comes with height-adjustable spindles for easier assembly as well as the ‘Industry 4.0 package’, which prepares it for the digitalisation of the construction site. The new self-erecting crane is also flexible in terms of transport, as it can be moved via a fifth wheel coupling or a drawbar.

Full lifting capacity with excellent cost-performance ratio.

The CM 430 is now available to hire or purchase from BKL. As with all new cranes in the BKL System Cattaneo, BKL is offering the new self-erecting crane in Germany at an ‘all-inclusive’ purchase price which includes the three-year BKL quality guarantee, support pyramids, a radio remote control as well as delivery and initial assembly within Germany. Customers also benefit from BKL’s comprehensive crane service.

Premiere at Nordbau 2026.

BKL will present the CM 430 for the first time in Germany at Nordbau 2026. From 9 to 13 September, visitors are invited to find out more about the technology, transport options as well as rental and purchase opportunities at Stand N516, Flensburger Straße, in the outdoor exhibition area North in Neumünster. The BKL North/East team will be on hand to advise on its comprehensive range of services, which extend from assembly and relocation to repairs and a 24-hour emergency service for tower cranes. In addition to over 500 top-slewing and bottom-slewing cranes, customers can also choose from a wide selection of mobile cranes and mobile construction cranes, as well as transport services.
