The team of BKL South has come up with a special crane solution for a hillside construction site: The crane specialists assembled a space-saving SLH 205 luffing jib crane. Thanks to the luffing position, the construction crane reached the required hook heights of up to 80 metres with a tower height of just under 27 metres, without the tower having to be erected to this height, as would be necessary for a top-slewing crane with a trolley. The construction crane was thus not only able to swing past the hillside without any problems, but also did not swing over neighbouring properties. This makes the luffing jib crane the most economically viable solution for our client.
